Hey, are you gonna eat that ?

Ramble.

Why do most of Liz's movies end with someone getting run over on a bridge in London ? Is it bad that I am not deterred by this, and immediately I think, Wow I should probably go visit that bridge when I go to London ? I'm actually pretty scared of standing on bridges. Maybe that's a bad idea...

I've been to the airport four times in as many weeks, and come Monday, I will be there again. I've dropped my grandma off, picked her up two weeks later, dropped off Daniel and Jonathan, and today it was Liz. This is torture. All I want to do is get on a plane and go anywhere; England or Chicago or India or Russia (ooh, to be there today, the first day of school and see all the schkolniks and schkolnitzas dressed in their best !) or Kenya or New Zealand or Japan... I just want to go. That's all I've ever wanted to do. So many pictures to take. People to meet. Liz is in New Orleans this weekend and she's going to photograph in the Ninth Ward. Beautiful. There is so much power in the photographs she will bring back, so much she won't have to say about them and so much in what we will see in them...

Before I took her to the airport, I stopped at a donut shop and got a coffee about the size of my head. I was dancing around her at the airport, asking her what we're going to do in London, where she wants to go once I get my London fix (my choice: Russia. Railroads and the kids that live in the Metro and maybe I'll just move into an orphanage and never leave. Maybe). I noticed it was really hot and said, "Wow, airports make me sweat..." and Liz had to remind me that it was probably the coffee I drank and the laps I was running around her. I think she's right.

Oh ! I interviewed at Peet's Coffee yesterday, too. I wore brown and I think they liked me because I wore brown. Everything in Peet's is brown. I figured that if I'd worn bright green or blue, I would have clashed with their color scheme and they'd have some subconscious distaste for me. I was asked to "sell" a product I liked, so I "sold" this book to the district manager, and lucky me, it was a book she's read and enjoyed. Funny thing is, I've never read it. I just looked at it a lot when I worked at Borders and figured it would probably be a decent read.

I'm going to look back on this later and realise all that coffee is just a bad idea.

I'm not sure I could fold into a 10x24 inch cube. Maybe you could just check me as baggage. The first 50lbs is free and that would be the cheapest, albeit illegal, way to fly.
